'Stitching With Liz & Helen' is a collaboration between two Royal School of Needlework tutors, Liz Tapper & Helen Jones (www.stitchwork.co.uk), to bring the art of needlework to Exeter. We aim to provide classes in a range of techniques and for varying skill levels. Please do get in touch if there's a particular course you would like to see listed.

Stitch a little bit of Hallowe'en with this fat golden spider, waiting for flies to land on his silver web. You will learn how to pad using craft felt and carpet felt, how to apply gold kid, how to apply different metal threads and how to stitch with metal thread. Suitable for beginners and above.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You will be able to borrow ring frames on the day, but you will need a fine sharp pair of embroidery scissors,

and magnifiers and lights (if either are needed). Thimbles may also be useful.

 

This class will run from 10.30am-4.30pm at Exeter Community Centre, 17 St. David's Hill, Exeter EX4 3RG.

with half an hour for lunch.
