The English Daisy is a beautiful design which covers three different embroidery techniques – surface embroidery, stumpwork and goldwork. It covers a few simple surface embroidery stitches, such as stem stitch, long & short stitch and chain stitch, stumpwork with wired petals and goldwork chips along with two little stumpwork bees. This class will give you an insight into these lovely hand embroidery techniques, enabling you to go on to further study.

 

This class is suitable for anyone who has not stitched for many years or who would like to start, as well as for intermediate level stitchers.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You will need a hoop (10" is ideal) and fine embroidery scissors and may find a magnifier and lamp useful.
