The Art Nouveau Tree is a stylish design which covers the use of long & short stitch with silk flosses in a range of complementary pink, purple and mauve shades for the leaves and couched silver plated pearl purl for the tree branches and leaf outlines using green silk floss.  Silk floss has a lovely sheen to it, which combines beautifully with the silver metal thread.  Suitable for all levels.

The Dog Rose is a charming design which covers the basic techniques of padding, couching using Japanese gold, twist and pearl purl, and cutwork.  It is an ideal starting point for launching an exciting journey into goldwork and it's many possibilities.  Suitable for beginners.

The class price includes the instruction booklet and diagram for the design. 

If you purchase the full kit, it includes all the threads and materials you require to complete the project.

You will need a fine sharp pair of embroidery scissors, a pair of scissors suitable for cutting metal thread and an embroidery hoop (ideally hands free),

This class, which is hosted by Cotswold Learning, will run from 10.00am-4.00pm in the Winstone Learning Centre within the Corinium Museum in Cirencester.  Cirencester is a bustling Cotswold market town with an array of interesting sights, shops, cafes and restaurants, and a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets if required.

Tea, coffee, homemade cake and biscuits will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.
