Napoleonic Goldwork Course: Online

​The course will run over three sessions on: Thursday 13, 20, 27 March 2025 from 7-9pm GMT.

In 2021, I was commissioned to design and embroider goldwork samples for a replica Napoleonic military dress coat dating from the early 1800s. This was picked up by the BBC and I was interviewed on the radio, broadcast on the news and featured on the Must See section of the BBC News website. The article can be viewed here.

I have run this course previously, however the materials have now been upgraded!

Instead of calico, the kit will instead include the traditional scarlet superfine broadcloth, made by a renowned specialist in historical textiles.
