Whitework - Pulled Thread Course: Online

​The course will run over four sessions on: Wednesday 4, 11, 18, 25 June 2025 from 3-5pm GMT.

Whitework includes many different hand embroidery techniques under it's name. Pulled Thread (known as Drawn Thread in the US) is one of those, and a very pretty one at that! The different stitches result in a variety of lace-like patterns that can be shown to advantage with either coloured fabric being placed behind, or a light shining through the spaces created.

This class will show you how to firstly transfer your design onto evenweave, before then being shown four different stitches. The final week will also cover finishing your design with an outline stitch.
