Autumn crewelwork embroidery lampshade with swirling stylised stems, leaves and petals is now available as a kit. Spring, Summer and Winter colourways are also available.
Kit includes linen twill fabric, with the design transferred by hand onto the fabric, comprehensive instructions with a helpful diagram, needle and crewel wool, as well as the equipment, tools and instructions to make your beautiful finished embroidery into a lovely round table or ceiling lampshade. Everything is kept neat and tidy in a labelled box.
If just purchasing the Instructions & Diagram, these will be sent to you via email and will comprise comprehensive instructions with images, stitch guide, diagram with key and full sized design. An opaque base can be provided if made up as a ceiling lampshade to reduce glare.
Finished dimensions of the lamp are 21cm high, 30cm diameter and 97cm circumference.
It is recommended that this shade is used with a low energy bulb which, as well as being better for the environment, it is also cooler to the touch minimising any risk of scorching. The lampshade kit materials have been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association.
