Mountmellick whitework embroidery originated in Mountmellick in Ireland.  It is a beautiful textural raised technique, designed to be used and washed over and over again.

This pretty rose kit comprises a 33cm x 33cm square of white cotton satin jean fabric, the traditional Mountmellick threads in three thicknesses, a hand transferred design, full instructions with stitch guide, diagram and photos, and a chenille needle.  All kept tidy in a neat little box.

If just purchasing the Instructions & Diagram, these will be sent to you via email and will comprise comprehensive instructions with images, stitch guide, diagram with key and full sized design. Please select Instructions Only at checkout for free 'delivery' by email.

The finished embroidery measures 14cm high by 11.5cm wide.

Suitable for beginners.

Your finished embroidery can be made into a lovely cushion, or bag (instructions not included) - a talking point whenever it's seen!

All my kits are packaged using recyclable and/or biodegradable materials.
